Helmsfolk & Norfolk Island
The company founders have between them spent a large part of their lives on beautiful Norfolk Island in the South Pacific, one of the world’s last paradises. Together they share a love of the island’s people, history and culture that is born from centuries of seafaring adventurers, explorers, convicts and mutineer descendants that journeyed across the oceans to make the island their home.
Their tales, legacies and legend are soaked in a Spirit of Exploration and adventure that lies at the heart of Helmsfolk.
Our Logo…
The name Helmsfolk is from the Helms of ships and Nor-folk Island, but more than that its a celebration of the Spirit of Exploration from the great ocean voyages that have seen our ancestors from all continents of the world travel this great earth and form the connections that shape who we are today, as folk.
Our logo reflects the Norfolk Island Pine and the bow of a boat joined together to form a compass in a symmetrical shape. The logo is encapsulated in a modern interpretation of a ship’s wheel – the Helm.
